The Adobe InDesign instance installed on the remote host is affected by multiple vulnerabilities.Description
The version of Adobe InDesign installed on the remote Windows host is prior to 20.5.3, 21.3.0. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the APSB26-32 advisory.- Heap-based Buffer Overflow (CWE-122) potentially leading to Arbitrary code execution (CVE-2026-34627, CVE-2026-34628, CVE-2026-34629)
- InDesign Desktop versions 20.5.2, 21.2 and earlier are affected by an out-of-bounds write vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file. (CVE-2026-27291)
- InDesign Desktop versions 20.5.2, 21.2 and earlier are affected by a Use After Free vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file. (CVE-2026-27283)
- InDesign Desktop versions 20.5.2, 21.2 and earlier are affected by an out-of-bounds read vulnerability when parsing a crafted file, which could result in a read past the end of an allocated memory structure.
An attacker could leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current user.
Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file.
