medium Nessus Plugin ID 305353

Synopsis

The Unity Linux host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The Unity Linux 20 host has a package installed that is affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the UTSA-2026-006619 advisory.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

RDMA/cxgb4: Fix potential null-ptr-deref in pass_establish()

If get_ep_from_tid() fails to lookup non-NULL value for ep, ep is dereferenced later regardless of whether it is empty.
This patch adds a simple sanity check to fix the issue.

Found by Linux Verification Center (linuxtesting.org) with SVACE.

Tenable has extracted the preceding description block directly from the Unity Linux security advisory.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
