Synopsis

A virtualization application installed on the remote macOS or Mac OS X host is affected by a vulnerability.

Description

The version of VMware Fusion installed on the remote macOS or Mac OS X host is 13.x, 25H2 prior to 25H2u1. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability.

- VMWare Workstation and Fusion contain a logic flaw in the management of network packets. A malicious actor with administrative privileges on a Guest VM may be able to interrupt or intercept network connections of other Guest VM's. (CVE-2026-22715)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update to VMware Fusion version 25H2u1, or later.
