Synopsis

A monitoring application installed on the remote host is affected by multiple vulnerabilities.

Description

The version of Zabbix Server installed on the remote host is prior to 6.0.41, 7.0.18, 7.2.12, 7.4.2. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities :

- An issue exists due to the LDAP 'Bind password' value being leaked when a Super Admin changes the LDAP 'Host' to a rogue LDAP server. An authenticated, remote attacker can exploit this to disclose the LDAP bind password. (CVE-2025-27231)

- An issue exists due to the problem.view.refresh action being accessible to users without permission to the Monitoring -> Problems view. An authenticated, remote attacker can exploit this to retrieve a list of active problems. (CVE-2025-49641)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Zabbix version 6.0.41, 7.0.18, 7.2.12, 7.4.2 or later.
