Synopsis

A monitoring application installed on the remote host is affected by a SQL injection vulnerability.

Description

The version of Zabbix Server installed on the remote host is prior to 6.0.34, 6.4.19, 7.0.4. It is, therefore, affected by a SQL injection vulnerability :

 - A Zabbix administrator can inject arbitrary SQL during the autoremoval of hosts by inserting malicious SQL in the 'Visible name' field. (CVE-2025-27240)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Zabbix version 6.0.34, 6.4.19, 7.0.4 or later.
