Synopsis
The remote Amazon Linux 2 host is missing a security update.
Description
The version of webkitgtk4 installed on the remote host is prior to 2.50.6-1. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the ALAS2-2026-3223 advisory.
The issue was addressed with improved memory handling. This issue is fixed in Safari 18.6, macOS Sequoia 15.6, iOS 18.6 and iPadOS 18.6, tvOS 18.6, watchOS 11.6, visionOS 2.6. Processing maliciously crafted web content may lead to an unexpected Safari crash. (CVE-2025-43213)
