Description

The version of Google Chrome installed on the remote Windows host is prior to 146.0.7680.177. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the 2026_03_stable-channel-update-for-desktop_31 advisory.

 - Use after free in Compositing in Google Chrome prior to 146.0.7680.178 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to potentially perform a sandbox escape via a crafted HTML page.

 - Use after free in CSS in Google Chrome prior to 146.0.7680.178 allowed a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code inside a sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High) (CVE-2026-5273)

 - Heap buffer overflow in GPU in Google Chrome prior to 146.0.7680.178 allowed a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High) (CVE-2026-5272)

 - Integer overflow in Codecs in Google Chrome prior to 146.0.7680.178 allowed a remote attacker to perform arbitrary read/write via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High) (CVE-2026-5274)

 - Heap buffer overflow in ANGLE in Google Chrome on Mac prior to 146.0.7680.178 allowed a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High) (CVE-2026-5275)

Solution

Upgrade to Google Chrome version 146.0.7680.177 or later.
