Description

The version of Microsoft Edge installed on the remote Windows host is prior to 146.0.3856.72. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the March 20, 2026 advisory.

- Out of bounds read and write in WebAudio in Google Chrome prior to 146.0.7680.153 allowed a remote attacker to potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity:
High) (CVE-2026-4459)

- Integer overflow in Dawn in Google Chrome on Mac prior to 146.0.7680.153 allowed a remote attacker to leak cross-origin data via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High) (CVE-2026-4453)

Solution

Upgrade to Microsoft Edge version 146.0.3856.72 or later.
