The remote host is affected by multiple vulnerabilities.

Description

The version of IBM InfoSphere Information Server installed on the remote host is 11.7.0.0 through 11.7.1.6. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities, including:

- IBM InfoSphere Information Server stores user credentials and other sensitive information in plain text which can be read by a local user. (CVE-2025-36258)

- IBM InfoSphere Information Server is vulnerable to exposure of sensitive information via JSON server response manipulation. (CVE-2026-1014)

- IBM InfoSphere Information Server is vulnerable to HTTP header injection, caused by improper validation of input by the HOST headers. This could allow an attacker to conduct various attacks against the vulnerable system, including cross-site scripting, cache poisoning or session hijacking. (CVE-2025-14807)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade IBM InfoSphere Information Server based upon the guidance specified in the vendor advisory.
