Synopsis

The remote host is missing a security update.

Description

The version of Ivanti Desktop and Server Management (DSM) installed on the remote host is prior to 2026.1.1. It is, therefore, affected by a Privilege Escalation Vulnerability.

 - An exposed dangerous method in Ivanti DSM before version 2026.1.1 allows a local authenticated attacker to escalate their privileges. (CVE-2026-3483)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Ivanti DSM version 2026.1.1 or later.
