Synopsis

Description

The version of Zoom Rooms installed on the remote host is prior to 6.6.5. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the ZSB-26003 advisory.

 - Improper Input Validation in Zoom Rooms for Windows before 6.6.5 in Kiosk Mode may allow an authenticated user to conduct an escalation of privilege via local access. (CVE-2026-30901)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Zoom Rooms 6.6.5 or later.
