Synopsis

The remote TencentOS Server 4 host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The version of Tencent Linux installed on the remote TencentOS Server 4 host is prior to tested version. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the TSSA-2026:0141 advisory.

 Package updates are available for TencentOS Server 4 that fix the following vulnerabilities:

 CVE-2026-1299:
 The email module, specifically the BytesGenerator class, didnt properly quote newlines for email headers when serializing an email message allowing for header injection when an email is serialized. This is only applicable if using LiteralHeader writing headers that don't respect email folding rules, the new behavior will reject the incorrectly folded headers in BytesGenerator.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected packages.
