Synopsis

The Microsoft Excel Products are missing a security update.

Description

The Microsoft Excel Products are missing a security update. They are, therefore, affected by multiple remote code execution vulnerabilities. An attacker can exploit these to bypass authentication and execute unauthorized arbitrary commands. (CVE-2026-26107, CVE-2026-26108, CVE-2026-26109, CVE-2026-26112)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Microsoft has released KB5002849 to address this issue.
