Synopsis

The remote host is affected by an information disclosure vulnerability.

Description

The version of IBM InfoSphere Information Server installed on the remote host is 11.7.0.0 through 11.7.1.6. It is, therefore, affected by an information disclosure vulnerability:

 - An XML External Entity (XXE) vulnerability in IBM InfoSphere Information Server could allow attackers to retrieve sensitive information from the server. (CVE-2026-1567)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade IBM InfoSphere Information Server based upon the guidance specified in the vendor advisory.
