critical Nessus Plugin ID 300748

Synopsis

The Unity Linux host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The Unity Linux 20 host has a package installed that is affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the UTSA-2026-005515 advisory.

Corosync through 3.1.9, if encryption is disabled or the attacker knows the encryption key, has a stack- based buffer overflow in orf_token_endian_convert in exec/totemsrp.c via a large UDP packet.

Tenable has extracted the preceding description block directly from the Unity Linux security advisory.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected corosync package.
