Synopsis

A web browser installed on the remote macOS host is affected by multiple vulnerabilities.

Description

The version of Google Chrome installed on the remote macOS host is prior to 145.0.7632.116. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the 2026_02_stable-channel-update-for-desktop_23 advisory.

 - Inappropriate implementation in DevTools. (CVE-2026-3063)

 - Out of bounds read in Media. (CVE-2026-3061)

 - Out of bounds read and write in Tint. (CVE-2026-3062)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Google Chrome version 145.0.7632.116 or later.
