Synopsis

The remote Brocade FabricOS host is affected by an information disclosure vulnerability.

Description

The version of Brocade FabricOS installed on the remote host is prior to 9.2.1c2, or 9.2.2 prior to 9.2.2b, or 10.0.0 prior to 10.0.0a. It is, therefore, affected by an information disclosure vulnerability:

 - A vulnerability in Brocade Fabric OS could allow an authenticated, local attacker with privileges to access the Bash shell to access insecurely stored file contents including the history command. (CVE-2026-0383)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Brocade FabricOS 9.2.1c2 / 9.2.2b / 10.0.0a or later.
