Synopsis

The remote IBM QRadar SIEM host is affected by multiple stored cross-site scripting vulnerabilities.

Description

According to its self-reported version, the IBM QRadar SIEM installation on the remote host is 7.5.x prior to 7.5.0 Update Pack 14. It is, therefore, affected by multiple stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities:

 - A vulnerability that allows an authenticated user to embed arbitrary JavaScript code in the Web UI, potentially altering intended functionality or leading to credentials disclosure within a trusted session. (CVE-2025-36170)

 - A vulnerability identical in nature that also allows an authenticated user to embed arbitrary JavaScript code in the Web UI, potentially leading to credentials disclosure. (CVE-2025-36138)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update IBM QRadar SIEM to version 7.5.0 Update Pack 14 or later.
