Synopsis

The remote SAP NetWeaver ABAP server is affected by a missing authorization check vulnerability.

Description

The version of SAP NetWeaver Application Server ABAP detected on the remote host is affected by a missing authorization check vulnerability as disclosed in the SAP Security Patch Day February 2026:

 - SAP NetWeaver Application Server ABAP and ABAP Platform is affected by a missing authorization check vulnerability. An attacker could exploit this to gain unauthorized access to sensitive information or functionality, potentially leading to escalation of privileges. (CVE-2026-0509)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Apply the appropriate patch according to the vendor advisory.
