Synopsis

The remote host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The version of Adobe Substance 3D Modeler installed on the remote host is prior to 1.22.6. It is, therefore, affected by out-of-bounds read vulnerability as referenced in the APSB26-22 advisory.

 - Substance3D - Modeler versions 1.22.5 and earlier are affected by an out-of-bounds read vulnerability that could lead to memory exposure. An attacker could leverage this vulnerability to disclose sensitive information stored in memory. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file. (CVE-2026-21348)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Adobe Substance 3D Modeler version 1.22.6 or later.
