The remote host has an application installed that is missing a security update.

Description

The GitHub Copilot for JetBrains plugin installed on the remote host is prior to version 1.5.63. It is, therefore, affected by a remote code execution vulnerability:

- Improper neutralization of special elements used in a command ('command injection') in GitHub Copilot allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network. (CVE-2026-21516)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the GitHub Copilot for JetBrains plugin to version 1.5.63 or later.
