Synopsis
The Adobe Audition instance installed on the remote host is affected by multiple vulnerabilities.Description
The version of Adobe Audition installed on the remote macOS host is prior to 25.6. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the APSB26-14 advisory.- Out-of-bounds Read (CWE-125) potentially leading to Memory exposure (CVE-2026-21313, CVE-2026-21314, CVE-2026-21315, CVE-2026-21317)
- Out-of-bounds Write (CWE-787) potentially leading to Arbitrary code execution (CVE-2026-21312)
- Access of Memory Location After End of Buffer (CWE-788) potentially leading to Application denial-of- service (CVE-2026-21316)
Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
Solution
