Synopsis

The remote EulerOS Virtualization host is missing a security update.

Description

According to the versions of the syslinux packages installed, the EulerOS Virtualization installation on the remote host is affected by the following vulnerabilities :

 ldebug.c in Lua 5.4.0 allows a negation overflow and segmentation fault in getlocal and setlocal, as demonstrated by getlocal(3,2^31).(CVE-2020-24370)

Tenable has extracted the preceding description block directly from the EulerOS Virtualization syslinux security advisory.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected syslinux packages.
