Description

The version of Google Chrome installed on the remote macOS host is prior to 144.0.7559.109. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the 2026_01_stable-channel-update-for-desktop_27 advisory.

 - Inappropriate implementation in Background Fetch API. (CVE-2026-1504)

Solution

Upgrade to Google Chrome version 144.0.7559.109 or later.
