Synopsis

The remote Azure Linux host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The version of kernel installed on the remote Azure Linux 3.0 host is prior to tested version. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the CVE-2025-21918 advisory.

 - In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: typec: ucsi: Fix NULL pointer access Resources should be released only after all threads that utilize them have been destroyed. This commit ensures that resources are not released prematurely by waiting for the associated workqueue to complete before deallocating them. (CVE-2025-21918)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
