Synopsis

The remote Azure Linux host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The version of kernel installed on the remote Azure Linux 3.0 host is prior to tested version. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the CVE-2025-22088 advisory.

 - In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/erdma: Prevent use-after-free in erdma_accept_newconn() After the erdma_cep_put(new_cep) being called, new_cep will be freed, and the following dereference will cause a UAF problem. Fix this issue. (CVE-2025-22088)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected packages.
