Azure Linux 3.0 Security Update: fltk (CVE-2016-9843)

Synopsis

The remote Azure Linux host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The version of fltk installed on the remote Azure Linux 3.0 host is prior to tested version. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the CVE-2016-9843 advisory.

 - The crc32_big function in crc32.c in zlib 1.2.8 might allow context-dependent attackers to have unspecified impact via vectors involving big-endian CRC calculation. (CVE-2016-9843)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected packages.
