Synopsis

The remote Azure Linux host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The version of fltk installed on the remote Azure Linux 3.0 host is prior to tested version. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the CVE-2016-9842 advisory.

 - The inflateMark function in inflate.c in zlib 1.2.8 might allow context-dependent attackers to have unspecified impact via vectors involving left shifts of negative integers. (CVE-2016-9842)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
