Azure Linux 3.0 Security Update: keda (CVE-2021-32923)

high Nessus Plugin ID 295350

Synopsis

The remote Azure Linux host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The version of keda installed on the remote Azure Linux 3.0 host is prior to tested version. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the CVE-2021-32923 advisory.

- HashiCorp Vault and Vault Enterprise allowed the renewal of nearly-expired token leases and dynamic secret leases (specifically, those within 1 second of their maximum TTL), which caused them to be incorrectly treated as non-expiring during subsequent use. Fixed in 1.5.9, 1.6.5, and 1.7.2. (CVE-2021-32923)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected packages.
