Synopsis

The remote Azure Linux host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The version of hyperv-daemons installed on the remote Azure Linux 3.0 host is prior to tested version. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the CVE-2024-27033 advisory.

 - In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: f2fs: fix to remove unnecessary f2fs_bug_on() to avoid panic verify_blkaddr() will trigger panic once we inject fault into f2fs_is_valid_blkaddr(), fix to remove this unnecessary f2fs_bug_on(). (CVE-2024-27033)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
