Synopsis

The remote Azure Linux host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The version of kernel installed on the remote Azure Linux 3.0 host is prior to tested version. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the CVE-2025-23146 advisory.

 - In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mfd: ene-kb3930: Fix a potential NULL pointer dereference The off_gpios could be NULL. Add missing check in the kb3930_probe(). This is similar to the issue fixed in commit b1ba8bcb2d1f (backlight: hx8357: Fix potential NULL pointer dereference).
 This was detected by our static analysis tool. (CVE-2025-23146)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Update the affected packages.
