The remote MiracleLinux host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote MiracleLinux 7 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the AXSA:2016-089:01 advisory.

 polkit is a toolkit for defining and handling authorizations. It is used for allowing unprivileged processes to speak to privileged processes.
 Security issues fixed with this release:
 CVE-2015-3256 PolicyKit (aka polkit) before 0.113 allows local users to cause a denial of service (memory corruption and polkitd daemon crash) and possibly gain privileges via unspecified vectors, related to javascript rule evaluation.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected polkit, polkit-devel and / or polkit-docs packages.
