Synopsis

The remote MiracleLinux host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote MiracleLinux 4 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the AXSA:2015-143:01 advisory.

 Tomcat is the servlet container that is used in the official Reference Implementation for the Java Servlet and JavaServer Pages technologies.
 The Java Servlet and JavaServer Pages specifications are developed by Sun under the Java Community Process.
 Security issues fixed with this release:
 CVE-2014-0227 Fixed bugs:
 * Previously, the tomcat6 init script did not try to kill the tomcat process if an attempt to stop it was unsuccessful, which would prevent tomcat from restarting properly. With this update, fixed it.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected packages.
