The remote host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The version of Adobe Substance 3D Sampler installed on the remote host is prior or equal to 5.1.0 It is, therefore, affected by a out-of-bounds write vulnerability as referenced in the APSB26-11 advisory.

 - Substance3D - Sampler versions 5.1.0 and earlier are affected by an out-of-bounds write vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file. (CVE-2026-21306)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Adobe Substance 3D Sampler version 5.1.3 or later.
