Synopsis

The remote EulerOS host is missing a security update.

Description

According to the versions of the librsvg2 packages installed, the EulerOS installation on the remote host is affected by the following vulnerabilities :

 A directory traversal problem in the URL decoder of librsvg before 2.56.3 could be used by local or remote attackers to disclose files (on the local filesystem outside of the expected area), as demonstrated by href='.?../../../../../../../../../../etc/passwd' in an xi:include element.(CVE-2023-38633)

Tenable has extracted the preceding description block directly from the EulerOS librsvg2 security advisory.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected librsvg2 packages.
