The remote MiracleLinux host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote MiracleLinux 4 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the AXSA:2011-125:02 advisory.

 Kerberos V5 is a trusted-third-party network authentication system, which can improve your network's security by eliminating the insecure practice of cleartext passwords.
 Security issues fixed with this release:
 CVE-2011-0284 Double free vulnerability in the prepare_error_as function in do_as_req.c in the Key Distribution Center (KDC) in MIT Kerberos 5 (aka krb5) 1.7 through 1.9, when the PKINIT feature is enabled, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (daemon crash) or possibly execute arbitrary code via an e_data field containing typed data.

Tenable has extracted the preceding description block directly from the MiracleLinux security advisory.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected packages.
