Synopsis
The Adobe InDesign instance installed on the remote host is affected by multiple vulnerabilities.Description
The version of Adobe InDesign installed on the remote Windows host is prior to 20.5.1, 21.1.0. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the APSB26-02 advisory.- InDesign Desktop versions 21.0, 19.5.5 and earlier are affected by a Heap-based Buffer Overflow vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user.
Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file.

- InDesign Desktop versions 21.0, 19.5.5 and earlier are affected by an Access of Uninitialized Pointer vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user.
Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file.
(CVE-2026-21275, CVE-2026-21276)
- InDesign Desktop versions 21.0, 19.5.5 and earlier are affected by an Out-of-bounds Read vulnerability that could lead to memory exposure. An attacker could leverage this vulnerability to access sensitive information stored in memory. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file. (CVE-2026-21278)

Solution
