Synopsis

The Adobe InCopy instance installed on the remote host is affected by a vulnerability.

Description

The version of Adobe InCopy installed on the remote host is prior to 20.5.1, 21.1.0. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the APSB26-04 advisory.

- InCopy versions 21.0, 19.5.5 and earlier are affected by a Heap-based Buffer Overflow vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file. (CVE-2026-21281)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Adobe InCopy version 20.5.1, 21.1.0 or later.
