Synopsis

The Microsoft Office Products are affected by multiple vulnerabilities.

Description

The Microsoft Office Products are missing security updates. They are, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities:

 - A remote code execution vulnerability. An attacker can exploit this to bypass authentication and execute unauthorized arbitrary commands. (CVE-2026-20952, CVE-2026-20953)

 - A privilege escalation vulnerability. An attacker can exploit this to gain elevated privileges. (CVE-2026-20943)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Microsoft has released the following updates to address these issues:
