Synopsis

The remote Amazon Linux 2023 host is missing a security update.

Description

It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the ALAS2023-2025-1349 advisory.

 Buffer underflow on Glib through glib/gvariant via bytestring_parse() or string_parse() leads to OOB Write. (CVE-2025-14087)

Solution
