Synopsis

The Unity Linux host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The Unity Linux 20 host has a package installed that is affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the UTSA-2025-992291 advisory.

 In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

 drm/mcde: Fix refcount leak in mcde_dsi_bind

 Every iteration of for_each_available_child_of_node() decrements the reference counter of the previous node. There is no decrement when break out from the loop and results in refcount leak.
 Add missing of_node_put() to fix this.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected kernel package.
