The integrated development environment installed on the remote host is affected by a remote project trust bypass vulnerability.

Description

The version of JetBrains IntelliJ IDEA installed on the remote host is prior to 2025.3. It is, therefore, affected by a remote project trust bypass vulnerability:

 - In JetBrains IntelliJ IDEA before 2025.3 missing confirmation allowed opening of untrusted remote projects over SSH.
 (CVE-2025-68269)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to JetBrains IntelliJ IDEA verison 2025.3 or later.
