Synopsis

The remote Amazon Linux 2 host is missing a security update.

Description

The version of audiofile installed on the remote host is prior to 0.3.6-10. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the ALAS2-2025-3087 advisory.

Audiofile v0.3.7 was discovered to contain a NULL pointer dereference via the ModuleState::setup function.
