Low Nessus Plugin ID 27712

The remote Fedora host is missing a security update.

JLANTHEA reported a denial of service flaw in the way that gdm listens on its unix domain socket. Any local user can crash the locally running X session.

Note that Tenable Network Security has extracted the preceding description block directly from the Fedora security advisory. Tenable has attempted to automatically clean and format it as much as possible without introducing additional issues.

Update the affected gdm, gdm-debuginfo and / or gdm-extra-faces packages.
