Synopsis

The remote EulerOS host is missing a security update.

Description

According to the versions of the linux-sgx packages installed, the EulerOS installation on the remote host is affected by the following vulnerabilities :

 Uncontrolled search path for some Intel(R) IPP Cryptography software before version 2021.11 may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access.(CVE-2024-21784)

Tenable has extracted the preceding description block directly from the EulerOS linux-sgx security advisory.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected linux-sgx packages.
