Synopsis

The remote TencentOS Server 3 host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The version of Tencent Linux installed on the remote TencentOS Server 3 host is prior to tested version. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the TSSA-2024:0763 advisory.

 Package updates are available for TencentOS Server 3 that fix the following vulnerabilities:

 CVE-2024-38476:
 Vulnerability in core of Apache HTTP Server 2.4.59 and earlier are vulnerably to information disclosure, SSRF or local script execution viabackend applications whose response headers are malicious or exploitable.

 Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.4.60, which fixes this issue.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected packages.
