Synopsis

The remote TencentOS Server 4 host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The version of Tencent Linux installed on the remote TencentOS Server 4 host is prior to tested version. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the TSSA-2025:0330 advisory.

 Package updates are available for TencentOS Server 4 that fix the following vulnerabilities:

 CVE-2024-10603:
 Weaknesses in the generation of TCP/UDP source ports and some other header values in Google's gVisor allowed them to be predicted by an external attacker in some circumstances.

 CVE-2024-10026:
 A weak hashing algorithm and small sizes of seeds/secrets in Google's gVisor allowed for a remote attacker to calculate a local IP address and a per-boot identifier that could aid in tracking of a device in certain circumstances.

Tenable has extracted the preceding description block directly from the Tencent Linux security advisory.

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected packages.
