Synopsis

The Spring Framework install on the remote host is affectec by a STOMP CSRF vulnerability.

Description

The version of Spring Framework installed on the remote host is 5.3.x prior to 5.3.46, 6.1.x prior to 6.1.24, or 6.2.x prior to 6.2.12. It is, therefore, affected by a STOMP CSRF vulnerability:

 - STOMP over WebSocket applications may be vulnerable to a security bypass that allows an attacker to send unauthorized messages. (CVE-2025-41254) Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Spring Framework version 5.3.46, 6.1.24, or 6.2.12 or later.
