Synopsis

Description

The version of Firefox installed on the remote macOS or Mac OS X host is prior to 58.0.1. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the mfsa2018-05 advisory.

 - Sanitize HTML fragments created for chrome-privileged documents(CVE-2018-5124) (CVE-2018-5124)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Mozilla Firefox version 58.0.1 or later.
