Description

The version of Firefox installed on the remote macOS or Mac OS X host is prior to 68.10.1. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the mfsa2020-27 advisory.

- A Content Provider in Firefox for Android allowed local files accessible by the browser to be read by a remote webpage, leading to sensitive data disclosure, including cookies for other origins.

Solution

Upgrade to Mozilla Firefox version 68.10.1 or later.
